Occupational Health and Safety Specialists

An occupational health and safety specialist is responsible for ensuring that workers are safe and healthy while performing their jobs. They may work in a variety of settings, including oil and gas fields, mining operations, and environmental remediation sites. Their work requires a moderate to extensive background in the geosciences and includes tasks such as:
