Architectural and Engineering Managers

Architectural and engineering managers plan, coordinate, and oversee the design and construction of infrastructure. They typically work in an office setting but may also visit construction sites to monitor progress and ensure that designs are being followed correctly. Their duties require a moderate background in the geoscience and may include:

  • Designing and building sustainable buildings or structures that are energy efficient and minimize their impact on the environment.
